I haven't forgotten

Just a note that I'm not dead. I just have a lot going on in my life...

I have been thinking of possibly updating the comics with unfinished pages in future because I simply can't find the time or inspiration to spend too much time on one page. And yet, I would like to continue and tell you the stories.
We shall see later how it goes.

Unfinished would mean that I would only do the line art.

Currently I have to take care of my health and that's my top priority!

This is a bit out of season now, but here you have my contribution for last years Facebook Christmas calendar at work.

Last year I move and still have all my art stuff where ever, but we'll see how it goes this year. I have been doodling, but not really concerning my comics. However, do not worry. They are still moving in my head. TOE and TWOD are not dead. I just seem to have problems of getting back on working on any pages. Well, I managed to so some inking on the next page of TOE, but no idea when I get it finished.

So while waiting enjoy these little doodles which I spent a bit more time on than in 2014.

Moving

Hello everyone!

I have actually managed to get some small drawing! Not actual pages, sorry. But I'm thrilled to find myself doodling again. I feel more like myself doing that.

The reason I haven't worked on pages is simple. Has less to do with lack of motivation and more with the fact that I have too much going on.
I'm moving at the end of this month and instead of keeping all my art stuff out in the open I must pack them. So I made the decision to get back to comic making after the move when I can relax again :)

My doodling isn't completely out of the comic sphere. I have actually been drawing more pages to my script for TWOD. As I have mentioned somewhere, the script is old and has over 500 pages!

So, give me a bit of more time and I'm sure I'll be back ;)

Winter Greetings!

Hello everyone!
Still no new comic stuff from me. Autumn has been extremely busy and continues to do so.
I haven't been completely without pen this whole time though! I have done a couple of pictures for my work places Christmas calendar since they were lacking some art. So I promised to do some and will still draw two more.

I have done the art so far for December 1st, 2nd and 7th.
And those who didn't know, I work for the lutheran church, but even if you are not Christian you are more than welcome to check my little art thingies.
They are not examples of my skill because I did not want them to be too different from the kids work they have there also. So I drastically simplified them.

Life continues to be crazy!!

I have the feeling there won't be any more updates this year. Too many things going on. Too many reasons to stress. And I have little inspiration to work on any specific art.


However, I'm alive and not giving up on my comics! Despite not drawing pages I'm still working with them in my head. They keep evolving and getting clearer so I'm not completely out.


I beg your understanding for my absence.
Hoping for a better time next year!

Life is crazy

A lot has been going on so my process on future pages is really slow.

Real life has been bugging me with both good and bad things and thus so has kept me from finishing pages. I have some unfinished pages for TOE and one for TWOD.

However, I'm still here and I haven't forgotten nor will I stop updating!

One tooth less - again

Sorry for my age-long silence everyone! This will still keep going. No-updates I mean.


I have a couple of things going on and I'm also currently over worked at work so I don't think I will be working long enough on any pages to actually finish one.


To explain the title I should tell you that one of the things going on is that they had to take one more tooth out of my mouth because it was broken. Those who have followed me long enough know that I already lost one tooth back in year 2008. And I'm not talking about wisdom teeths here!


So, I'm currently waiting for the day when I can eat hard food again and don't need to eat painkillers.


I'm not dead nor have I disappeared anywhere. Just a lot of things going on and to little time.

A real update!

Hi there!

Some sad and otherwise busy times have kept me from serious drawing.
I'm slow in my work now, but I thought that by keeping it slow with out any stress I will not only do better, but also feel better about it.
So, I'm very sorry for the long breaks in updates, but I hope you will enjoy unrushed pages and thus so the wait will be worth it :)

BUT i actually updated TWOD!!!
It's two pages of which the second one will be up tomorrow (it's a timed update).
These are the pages I began working on during the time of mourning after my grandfathers death more than a month ago. I feel relaved to have them done and online. It's like one chapter has now ended and the next is just beginning.

Since DrunkDuck has been down for a very long time the updates can be found only at Smackjeeves now. Please enjoy them!

Sad times...

This is a sad time for me because my grandfather passed away exactly a week ago on Wednesday morning. Me and all my family are somewhat coping with this and will say our final goodbyes on Saturday.

The strange thing is that this sad situtation made me draw. I couldn't bring myself to draw anything that had to do with him, but I actually are working on new pages for TWOD.

So, during autumn you will get some new pages. I try to finish more than one of them before uploading any of them.

Summer, summer...

I'm sorry guys for the lack of comics. Well, my summers are usually very quiet when it get to comic updates and I'm not surprised.

I have a difficult time to tolerate heat and this summer has been quite warm in Finnish standards. It has been also quite long because summer began early.

On top of that I have a new job to get used to and even after half a year I'm still unable to find a rythm in my live. I'm also constantly tired which doesn't help drawing in the slightest.

So, updates will resume when I'm able to feel inspired again and can sit down by my drawing table. Untill then I will somehow live over this summer... -_-

P.S. To me 25 degrees celcius is too much, in case you are wondering... I'm a winter girl!!

Back home from Scotland

I'm still alive and kicking!

Just had a fabulous week in Scotland for the third time in my life. I also visited Loch Ness for the second time of my life. The last time was in 2003 so its been 10 years ago!

I'm ashamed of myself for not being able to keep up any update schedule I try.

I guess I should just give up and update whenever I have something to put up. I still don't want to take the easy way out and just pencil the pages. I want to finish them properly before updating and that's what takes time.

Other reason is my lond days at work. Don't worry! I enjoy my job, but this is just a busy time there. Also, I need some extra hours for later this summer.

So... I'm not giving up the comics! Stubbornes runs strong in my family!
But I just have to give up the update schedule and go with the pace I can now manage.

So updates will come whenever I have something to show you.

I'll try (only try, I won't promise doing it) to write something here in my blog a bit more often so that you won't have to worry if I have dissappeared completely.

And here is a funny fact!
This week the warmes place in Europe with over 30 degrees celcius was Utsjoki which resides in the northern most border of Finland!! Something has seriously gone upside down!
Google the place so you'll understand better.

April updates

April update for both of my comics will be couple of days late. The other is already done and the other is missing only the finishing toutches. However, RL causes me to be a bit late with them, but they will come in a couple of day!!

The update schedule for 2013

Sorry for taking so long!
I'm still taking a while more, but I intend to try to keep up this update schedule I figured out.

I will attempt to update both my comics ones a month! If I can make it more often with extra pages, no one will complain I'm sure, but this is what I'll aim to do.

So, I will attempt to get the next page of TOE during next week. Now on March I won't have time to update TWOD, but from April forward I'll attemt to update both with one page each month!

That's all for now. I'm too tired to come up with anything more to write. I have had long days at work this week -_-

Year 2013

This year has began with a new job!
Today was the first official day that I was at work.

The job I got is a permanent one! Whoo!!!
Which is really great considering the international financial situation.

I will get back to comic making asap, but I want to get to know my new job and the environment and get my day rythm back in order before I stress about pages.

So, you will have to wait for a while before the next page of either comic, but I will be back :)

Last update for year 2012!

Page 22 for chapter 3 for Taint of Exile is the last update for year 2012 and it's up today!

Now I'm off to celebrate Christmas, my birthday and the new year. See you on year 2013!
